Claims Procedures

Any circumstances that may lead to a claim should be reported immediately.

FAILURE TO REPORT A CLAIM AND PROVIDE THE COMPANY
WITH THE REQUIRED INFORMATION IN A TIMELY FASHION CAN JEOPARDIZE YOUR COVERAGE AND WILL HAVE AN IMPACT ON YOUR ABILITY TO COLLECT YOUR DAMAGES.

Always report any situation that may lead to a claim. If you are not sure, the best policy is to report it. You should be prepared to provide the following in writing:

  1. Was anyone hurt? If so, how badly and where did they receive medical treatment?
  2. A description of the damaged, destroyed or stolen property
  3. An estimate of the cost to repair or replace the damaged property or film negative.
  4. A copy of the police report or case number
  5. How, where or when (include the time of day) did it happen?
  6. Will this event delay your filming operations? If so, how long
  7. Who should the Claims Adjuster contact for more information?

After the claim is filed with the company, it will be a few days before the Claims Adjuster contacts you. Please use this time to get a repair estimate or assemble receipts and other documentation of your loss. It will speed up the settlement.
